KOMBUCHA DESIGN
This project showcases the creation of KomBOONcha, a kombucha brand built around the idea of fortunes and positive energy. Each flavour is paired with its own symbolic “fortune,” giving the bottles a personality that goes beyond taste. Raspberry represents the fortune of love, blueberry embodies insight and clarity, and ginger symbolizes prosperity and growth.
The name “BOON” is often used to describe something that arrives at the right moment or makes life easier. This meaning ties perfectly into the brand’s good-fortune theme. It also creates a clever word play, blending “boon” with “kombucha” to form KomBOONcha. This reinforces the idea that each drink brings a little boost of positivity, good luck, and feel-good energy with every sip.
The label designs combine playful illustrations, soft gradients, and layered shapes that visually express each fortune while keeping the series cohesive. Working with warm amber bottles, I designed labels that feel modern, colourful, and expressive, allowing each flavour to stand out with its own story. This project blends illustration, branding, and packaging design into a unified collection that feels vibrant, meaningful, and market-ready.
